"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Now that iTunes has redeemed those gift certificates...

I need some good suggestions for downloads.

I am thinking some Neko Case, maybe some Michelle Branch or some new Tori Amos. You know---girls. Singing and playing and emoting some good emotions. These are just some general guidelines. Here is your opportunity to turn me on to some music I simply gotta have! What artist? What songs?

*taps fingers impatiently*

I'm waiting.

One of the artists that's shot to the near top of my favorites list in the last few years is Aimee Mann (ever since she appeared on Buffy). I really like the Lost in Space album.

I've also kinda started to like KT Tunstall - she's got a couple of hits that even I with my head in a musical hole had heard before.

Katie Melua is our new favorite right now. She sings an awesome cover of the Cure's "Just Like Heaven."

I've been listening to Madeleine Peyroux a lot lately. Especially her "Careless Love" album.

Would you be interested in boys with similar musical styles to some of the girls mentioned? For instance, if you already like Neko Case, I would recommend Andrew Bird.
